Driving OEM Value Through Quality: CLI Names Max Orecchia VP
Comprehensive Logistics (CLI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Max Orecchia as Vice President of Quality. With nearly 30 years of experience in the global automotive industry, Max brings an extensive background in manufacturing, engineering, quality systems, and lean practices to the CLI leadership team.
Throughout his career, Max has held key leadership roles in quality management, tooling, product launches, plant start-ups, and program development. His resume includes senior positions at respected industry leaders such as Lear Corporation, BENTELER Automotive, Sodecia (formerly AZ Automotive), JAC Products, GEDIA Automotive Group, and most recently, Iroquois Industries. This depth of experience positions him to take CLI’s Quality Department to the next level of performance and customer value.
“We’re excited to welcome Max to our leadership team,” said Trey Lyda, Chief Operating Officer of CLI. “His ability to drive systems-level thinking and unify teams around a shared vision for quality will make a meaningful impact on our operations and the value we deliver to customers.”
Max’s arrival reinforces CLI’s ongoing commitment to delivering its customers the highest standards of quality and performance. As CLI continues to grow its footprint across North America, his leadership will help ensure that excellence in quality remains a strategic advantage.
In his new role, Max will lead CLI’s enterprise-wide quality strategy—developing scalable, repeatable systems that support continuous improvement and operational excellence. He will be responsible for aligning cross-functional teams around core quality objectives while reducing non-conformance costs and reinforcing a culture of discipline and integrity throughout the organization.
“Quality is not just a checkpoint—it’s a mindset,” said Max. “Our goal is to build quality into every stage of our processes, ensuring that we deliver consistent, reliable results for our customers and partners.”
Max’s approach is deeply rooted in lean manufacturing principles, which are particularly valuable to CLI’s OEM and Tier 1 automotive customers, who demand speed, precision, and cost efficiency in increasingly complex supply chains. His expertise in lean methodologies and systems thinking will be instrumental in driving innovation, reducing waste, and ensuring process stability across CLI operations.
